C reate an ALIANZA consisting of individuals in recovery, partners, friends, and allies.O rganizing to address the barriers related to stigma and community mobilization.V oice of recovery. “A voice to those who are not being heard”.E ducate. Implement a public education campaign.

Proyecto Bienestar commits itself to assisting the Hispanic Recovery Community in; organizing an ALIANZA, training in leadership development, executing a public awareness campaign, which in turn, empowers individuals and families, reduces stigma and ultimately impacts public policy efforts.

The trainings will be provided by individuals in recovery . To include but not limited to topics on: Self-Care Risk & protective factors Substance abuse addiction Cultural competency Advocacy & Community mobilization ALIANZA Leadership Team trainings: Board Governance Public Policy Public Speaking Mission Statement Organization Structure Strategic Plan Development Other Trainings: Strategies for impacting public policy Evaluation

recruited from the Eloy, Arizona City, Picacho, Coolidge, Florence and
Casa Grande areas. Membership is open to all interested individuals.
